Old Royal Naval College – Group Offers

There has been lots going on at the Old Royal Naval College in the heart of Maritime Greenwich. They have a new travel trade team who have been carrying out a fresh review of everything on offer for group organisers.

Gillian Bell is the travel trade manager, and she is supported by Ales Kosejk, alongside Joanna Fitzpatrick who heads up the box office. They are all excited to offer a mix of new products this year designed specifically for group organisers.

London Transport Museum – Journey through Baker Street’s 160 years of history with a brand-new Hidden London tour

  • For the first time, step behind-the-scenes at one of the World’s oldest Tube stations, Baker Street
  • The new Hidden London tour allows guests to join expert guides on a journey into the Underground’s past – with exclusive access to areas that are usually closed-off to the public
  • Guests can experience history right where it happened, in exclusive locations including original platforms, disused lift shafts and corridors that lay hidden in plain sight
  • Hidden London tours are exclusive guided tours run by London Transport Museum that take guests to disused stations, closed platforms and other secret areas of the underground network to explore the city’s history
  • They were named ‘Best Hidden Gem in the World’ at the Tiqets’ Remarkable Venue Awards 2022 by public vote
  • New tour dates to explore other disused Tube stations, secret spaces and hidden locations will also go on sale for September to December, including special dates for the Festive period
  • Tickets will go on sale to the public on 12 July and can be booked on London Transport Museum’s website: ltmuseum.co.uk
  • Subscribers to the museum’s free e-newsletter will receive 24-hour priority booking on 11 July

Voices of London Museum Late celebrates the Making of Black Britain on Friday 14 July

at London Transport Museum

London Transport Museum has teamed up with The Making of Black Britain (MOBB) for a jam-packed evening of talks, workshops, and screenings of oral histories of London’s past and present which will spotlight the voices of people who make up today’s Britain. From guest speakers such as Diane Louise Jordan, the first Black TV presenter of children’s television programme Blue Peter, to African head wrapping tutorials, this event will mark the 75th anniversary of the 1948 British Nationality Act and explore how this land-mark legislation has influenced the capital, its transport and our culture. This Museum Late is also a chance to relax and enjoy the Museum Galleries after-hours to a back-drop of music and drinks.

Meet the Travel Trade Team

We are pleased to introduce Gillian Bell, our in-house Travel Trade Manager. She is supported by Ales Kosejk, who you may know from Visit Greenwich. Ales is on secondment two days a week to help develop our trade partnerships and Joanna Fitzpatrick continues to head up our box office team.

We are all excited about lots of new products on offer this year for groups/coach and tour operators.
