Public Guidance Updated

Some good news in that the main public coronavirus guidance has been updated to say that the following areas have been removed from the list of areas receiving enhanced support to deal with increases cases caused by the delta variant.

    • Darlington Borough Council
    • Durham County Council
    • Gateshead Council
    • Hartlepool Borough Council
    • Middlesbrough Council
    • Newcastle City Council
    • North Tyneside Council
    • Northumberland County Council
    • Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council
    • South Tyneside Council
    • Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council
    • Sunderland City Council

Unfortunately, at the same time to following areas in the South West have been added to the enhanced support areas list

RHA Coach Policy

The Road haulage Association have published a new policy document regarding rebuilding the sector. The policy document covers the following issues:

    • Covid recovery for the coach industry
    • Environmental challenges – urban access and clean air
    • Accessibility on vehicles
    • Recruitment into the industry including apprenticeships and training
    • Image of the industry
    • Roads as our workplace
