Discounted entry to Hever Castle’s Gardens for AGTO members midweek in November – 20% off ticket price

We understand that not all AGTO Members will be able/willing to travel as a group of 15 or more people at this time. So, at Hever Castle we offering AGTO members the chance to benefit from discounted Garden entry Wednesday to Friday during November (until 20 November) to enjoy stunning autumn walks in 125 acres of space in smaller groups, couples or even on your own.

The Castle and gardens are open Wednesday to Sunday throughout the period and AGTO members can experience the last hint of autumn colour in the quieter grounds, take the opportunity of reduced queues for Castle entry and sample a range of tempting treats in the Restaurant.

Other attractions that will be open in November include the KSY Military Museum and the Miniature Model Houses Exhibition (accessed via the Hever Shop).

Autumn Colour this year is themed around the Japanese art of Forest Bathing and the importance of immersing yourself in nature to improve health and wellbeing.

Visitors can follow the trail which takes in Anne Boleyn’s Walk and Diana’s Walk or for those wanting a longer stroll, Lake Walk, the Japanese Tea House folly and Smugglers Walk offer spectacular colour and interest.

Those wishing to stick to the main paths can marvel at the Pompeiian Wall and classical statuary in the Italian Garden; admire the giant topiary chess set in the Tudor Garden and stroll through Blue Corner. The Loggia, overlooking the 38-acre lake, is the perfect spot to relax before exploring the many cascades, grottoes and fountains.

AGTO Members wishing to upgrade to visit the Castle can do so at the Castle Entrance. This is because Hever Castle is limiting numbers in rooms to enable social distancing. Entry is on a first come first served basis.

Hever Castle is ‘Good to Go’

Hever Castle has been awarded VisitEngland We’re Good to Go industry standard, confirming it is adhering to the Government’s COVID-19 guidance.

Measures in place at Hever Castle include pre-booked systems to restrict visitor numbers, one way systems to enable social distancing, additional cleaning of facilities, the use of Perspex shields, limiting capacities in rooms and a cashless payment system.

Face coverings must be worn in the Hever Shop, Moat Restaurant, Guthrie Pavilion and Castle (exemptions apply) and no groups of more than 6.
