Coaches Welcome at Statfold Country Park

Statfold Country Park, located on the outskirts of Tamworth in Staffordshire, is home to Statfold Barn Railway with a World-renowned collection of narrow gauge locomotives.  With over 30 steam locomotives and many internal combustion locomotives, representing British and several overseas manufacturers it really is worth a visit.

Located in the stunning Staffordshire countryside, yet still within easy reach of the motorway, the Country Park is the perfect destination for coach tours with a range of attractions for your groups to enjoy, whatever the weather.

Group Offers

Available Wednesday – Sunday (excluding event days), groups can choose from a range of options including Cream Tea, Museum entrance and unlimited trains rides for just £10 per person or Afternoon Tea with finger Sandwiches, mini savoury, mini cakes, scone with jam and cream and Museum entrance and unlimited trains rides for £30 per person.  Guests can also upgrade their afternoon tea to include a glass of Prosecco at £35 per person.

Statfold Country Park has an ever-changing programme of special events and activities taking place throughout the year from steam enthusiast days, model railway exhibitions, vehicle enthusiast events, live music festivals, firework displays and lots of family events. 1940s Night – 14th July 2023

This 1940s night begins as guests explore the World-Renowned Museum before tucking into the ultimate 40s meal… Fish and Chips or Woolton Pie (V)!  Guests will then be entertained by the swinging tunes courtesy of The Kalamazoo Band, where the host Kal, teaches everyone the dance moves.

Midlands Firework Festival – 19th August 2023

The Midlands Firework Festival is an exciting collaboration between Statfold Country Park and Titanium Fireworks.  An evening of incredible shows from the minds behind some of the
UK’s BIGGEST firework displays!

Party in the Park – 26^th and 27^th August 2023

The ULTIMATE Summer Party starts on the Strawberry Park Stage with some of the UK’s best Tribute Bands including Bon Giovi, Blondied, 80s Mania and more!   Also returning as a fan favourite this year, catch the ABBA Reunion Show! Guests turn the weekend into a Staycation with camping available onsite

Road, Rail & Ale – 9^th and 10^th September 2023

All aboard for Road, Rail and Ale at Statfold Country Park 2023. The largest event of the year promises to be one of the most spectacular on the calendar. Alongside the award-winning railway there’s a whole host of all things Road and Rail.  This is an event not to be missed.

Model Railway Exhibition – 13^th and 14^th April 2024

Guests will be able to see over 25 model railway layouts of all scales and more than 25 specialist traders. Plus, they can catch a ride on a steam train, visit the light railway, explore the Museum and more!

Parking is free and Coach Drivers are offered free admission plus lunch and hot drinks throughout their stay.  Just quote ref STATCOACH2023 at the time of booking.
