AGTO Members Shine in GLT Awards Shortlist

More than 30 GTO and Associate members have reached the finals of this year’s Group Leisure & Travel Awards.

Two of the four finalists in the category for ‘Group Travel Organiser of the Year’, two are AGTO members: Anne Barnes, of The Comets, the Metropolitan Police Sport and Social Association, and Gwen Wright of The Arts Society Cranleigh in West Sussex.

AGTO Associate members also feature strongly across all 20 awards categories, some more than once. The names include Airedale Tours, Bateaux London, Belgian Tourist Office-Wallonia, Best Western Hotels, Bletchley Park, Borde Hill Garden, Coventry Cathedral, Daish’s Holidays, Delfont Mackintosh Theatres, DFDS, Dunwood Travel, Eden Project, Edwards Holidays, Encore Tickets, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, Historic Royal Palaces (Tower of London), Interchoice Holidays, Johnsons Coach Travel, Longleat, Potters Resort, RHS Garden Harlow Carr, RHS Garden Wisley, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Switzerland Travel Centre, The Ticket Factory, The View from the Shard, UK Parliament, V&A, Warner Leisure Hotels, Wicked London and ZSL London Zoo.

The winners will be announced online at 4.30pm on Wednesday 7 October.
