Hidden London Wins Best Guided Tour at Group Leisure & Travel Awards 2026

London Transport Museum’s exclusive Hidden London tours have been awarded Best Guided Tour at the prestigious Group Leisure & Travel Awards 2026, recognising them as a leading offer for group travel.

The Group Leisure & Travel Awards are among the longest established and most respected accolades in the sector, celebrating the best UK attractions, experiences and destinations for groups. Winners are voted for by readers, including group travel organisers, coach operators and industry professionals, making this a significant endorsement within the group travel market.

The 2026 winners were announced at a ceremony held on Friday 12 June in London, with thousands of readers helping to shape the results. The award was presented to Head of Hidden London Ollie Burton, Senior Content Producer Siddy Holloway, and Groups and Travel Trade Manager Kirsty Linton.

Hidden London is a programme of eleven exclusive guided tours led by London Transport Museum, offering groups unique access to off-limits areas of the Underground network. From disused stations and closed platforms to wartime shelters and time-capsule corridors, the tours provide high-quality, unique experiences for both inbound and domestic travellers seeking memorable and differentiated London itineraries. The tours are eligible for the Great British Summer Savings Scheme, bringing standard ticket prices from £46.50 to £40.69 for visitors during summer 2026.

Each visit is led by expert guides, delivering in-depth interpretation and storytelling that brings London’s transport and social history to life in the very places it happened. The programme appeals to a wide range of group types, including special interest groups, culture and history lovers, and London-bound visitors looking to uncover little-known corners of the capital.

Since it started in 2015 the programme has grown in scale, and welcomed over 48,630 guests aged 10 and over in 2025.

Hidden London tours run all year around Wednesday to Sunday, with locations varying week to week. There are several ticket releases across the year, with tickets typically available around six months in advance. Ongoing product development, including dedicated family tours, also continues to broaden the offer and create new opportunities within the group travel market.
