Christmas Crackers at The Silk Museum

Your experience begins with an exclusive private tour of Paradise Mill, where you’ll explore the authentic factory floor of Macclesfield’s last surviving silk mill.

Next, gather in the atmospheric Machine Gallery, decorated for the festive season, to enjoy a winter warmer and a mince pie before settling in for a fun, hands-on cracker-making workshop.

This unique experience is available Wednesdays–Fridays, 2–18 December 2026, with a choice of morning or afternoon slots: 10:30am to 1pm, or 1:30pm to 4pm.

It’s ideally suited for small groups up to 12, such as book clubs, craft circles, WIs, work outings, or festive get-togethers amongst friends.
