Step into the glittering world of Regency life this festive season with A Very Austen Christmas at the Royal Pavilion, celebrating 250 years since the birth of Jane Austen. Imagine Jane arriving for a grand ball beneath sparkling chandeliers, the Pavilion alive with themed trees, the rustle of silk gowns, and the scents of spiced punch and evergreen garlands. Explore enchanting interactives, try on Regency finery, and meet beloved characters from Austen’s novels as the Royal Pavilion is transformed into a storybook Christmas wonderland. Younger visitors can join our delightful pug, Pug, for a playful journey through Jane’s life and characters.

Throughout the season, guests can enjoy a special Austen Christmas Cream Tea, while literary enthusiasts will relish an In Conversation event with Regency experts Zac Pinsent and Dr Hilary Burlock. Father Christmas will be in residence, delighting families with his magical storytelling, and the grandeur of Christmas Banquets will bring dining in the spirit of George IV to life. The Music Room will echo with the voices of local choirs singing carols, creating a truly festive atmosphere, and children will be enchanted as Pug helps them discover Austen’s stories in a way designed just for them.
