Blenheim Palace Roof Restoration Update
Soar to New Heights with the Blenheim Palace Roof Restoration
Since January, our restoration teams have been working on the largest conservation project in Blenheim Palace’s history. With over thirty miles of scaffolding now in place, vital work to protect and restore the roof is well underway.
As part of these essential efforts, our iconic main entrance has been temporarily impacted. We’re excited it will re-open early June, removing the need to enter through the current tunnel structure
Inside the Palace, visitors can now get closer than ever to the remarkable Thornhill ceiling, thanks to a specially created replica on display in the Great Hall while the original remains safely covered during the restoration.
We are thrilled to be launching the new Rooftop Viewing Platform experience on the 24th May, which will be included in the Palace ticket. This experience gives guests a rare opportunity to enjoy sweeping views of the Blenheim Estate and to see the craftsmanship of the restoration up close.
