Sustainability Award
We were honoured to be named Sustainable Tourism Provider of the Year at UKinbound’s Awards for Excellence 2024. To be recognised for this award is truly special, and we are so proud of the work everyone at Blenheim Palace does to put sustainability at the heart of everything we do.
Heather Carter, Managing Director, Visitor Attraction at Blenheim Palace, said: “Our goal is to be one of the UK’s greenest attractions. We’re striving and have the necessary interventions and initiatives in place to reach Net Zero by 2027”.
World Travel Market
In November, the team ventured to the World Travel Market at ExCeL London. It was a jam-packed few days connecting with the travel community and showcasing all that Blenheim Palace has to offer.
Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and shared so many inspiring conversations with us. It was an incredible event to be a part of and we would like to thank all our Heritage in Britain partners who made exhibiting this year an amazing three days.
The Roof Restoration Project
In 2025, we are set to embark on our most ambitious restoration project to date. This £12m restoration of the Palace roof will help us ensure our UNESCO World Heritage Site remains resilient for generations to come.
Our visitors will have the opportunity to witness the restoration first-hand through our newly introduced Rooftop Tours. We’ll be unveiling previously unseen State Rooms featuring the Family Treasures Collection and launching an engaging Below the Stairs Experience, which will explore the lives of those who managed the Palace’s daily operations centuries ago. If you would like to register your interest to book onto any of these tours, please click here.
