Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines crowned ‘Best Cruise Line’ for ninth year running at Group Leisure and Travel Awards 2020

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has today been named the ‘Best Cruise Line’ at the Group Leisure and Travel Awards 2020 – for the ninth year in a row!

The ceremony for the awards, now in their 24^th year, was held virtually for the first time this afternoon, presented by TV personality and magician Ben Hanlin.

On receiving the award, Ellie Fulcher, Sales Manager for Groups and Affinity at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:

“Winning any award is always incredible, but when they are voted for by our guests and group travel organisers like this it really does mean the world, especially during such a challenging year for our industry.

Fred. Olsen was one of six cruise lines shortlisted for the award, alongside AMA Waterways, Arena River Cruises, CroisiEurope, Emerald Waterways and SAGA.

This latest accolade follows on from Fred. Olsen also being named the ‘Best Cruise Line Operator for Groups’ at the Group Travel Awards 2020 last month.

Last year, in addition to the ‘Best Cruise Line’ title, Ellie also received the Excellence Award for the enthusiasm, dedication and commitment she shows for creating exceptional group travel experiences aboard the Fred. Olsen fleet.
