November 2024
Don’t forget to put the date in your diary and keep up-to-date with the latest news
Once again, we are returning to Wembley Stadium, following the successful 50th anniversary celebrations this year on Saturday 1 February 2025. With pre-registration now open make sure you don’t miss any news updates by subscribing to our website.
Although there’s loads of information online, there is nothing like meeting in person and having a chat, suddenly you’ve identified a great new place to visit! There’s also the opportunity to meet old friends as well as make new ones.
We already have a good line up, with a mix of Tour Operators offering their new programmes, accommodation, theatres, attractions and destinations, river and cruise lines. Along with many of the previous favourites, we’re delighted to welcome new exhibitors for 2025. These include National Theatre, Abba Voyage, BW Hotels and Brooklands. A new stand for next year is Where To Go In North Norfolk: North Norfolk Railway, Wroxham Barns, Fairhaven Gardens, Holkham Hall and Broads Tours.
Each year we consider a theme or themes to inspire you. For 2025, we’ll have a focus on Jane Austen 250 and Gardens:
- Jane Austen 250 will see Visit Winchester, including The Vyne near Basingstoke and Visit Reading offering related itineraries. Jane Austen went to school in Reading and is buried in Winchester Cathedral. The Vyne National Trust is an English country great house that once belonged to Austen family friends the Chutes. Southampton and Basingstoke also offer Jane Austen trails.
- The Great Sussex Way offers a plethora of gardens. Don’t miss Painshill Park, Surrey, created in the 18th century by Charles Hamilton as a living painting, Painshill invites you to walk around a work of art and discover dramatic follies, calming waters and stunning views. Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, Norfolk is 130 acres of cultivated, wild and natural plantings, a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and also offers boat trips up the River Bure.
There’ll be much more information on these as we move through the year, for show updates and registration details make sure you subscribe so you don’t miss out. If you aren’t already receiving our emails visit www.excursionsshow.com/subscribe
